THE WORD NEVER FAILS

Isaiah 55:10-11 AMPC
For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the Sower and bread to the eater,
[11] So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

The word of God is infallible, he never changes, fails, or dies because the word is Christ Jesus according to John 1:14 and since Jesus live, the word is an active living entity as John 6:63 puts it, a living spirit.
Some words were written decades, centuries and millenniums ago that still exist today but sadly so many of them are not worth anything, some are completely obsolete while so many have been edited, updated, and erased. No matter how much we try, we cannot hold on to man’s word indefinitely without expiration, but God’s word is sure to stand firm forever.
Our text says that as the rain and snow cannot fail to nourish the earth, God’s word of promise cannot fail to bring his people into the richness and fullness of eternal life. The word of God not only describes a glorious future but is also God’s appointed means to create that future.
The testament of the infallibility of God’s word is seen in the image of the snow and rain’s inability to return to heaven once it starts falling, as if to say “I’m tired of snowing or raining, so, I’m just going back upwards” impossible right! That’s how impossible it is for the word of God to fail. The melted snow and rainwater soaked up by the earth may seem lost to us but serves a godly purpose and will not return to its former state without accomplishing the godly desired effect. That’s exactly as it is with the word of God, it seems little, sounds unnecessary sometimes and may seem powerless but it always does what it’s intended and accomplishes the purpose why it was sent out.
The assurance of God’s word not failing is seen in the gospel of God’s word falling on man’s heart, especially on hard hearts to work a lasting change.
The only constant in the universe is the word of God according to Matthew 24:35 which says everything else will pass away except the word of God.
Throughout life, you would have had reasons to be disappointed because people failed you, promises were ignored or broken, assurances given were worth nothing and you were left high and dry with nothing but that’s not the case with the word of God. As John 6:63 says that the word of God is spirit and life, only the Spirit gives life, to the flesh, that is, human nature, the natural is completely incapable of producing genuine spiritual life according to Romans 7:14–25. Since only the Spirit can do this, He works powerfully in and through the spoken word that is Jesus to always produce results.
The word of God never fails!
He produces results always!
The word of God provides us with tools and resources!
The word meets all our needs through the riches in Christ Jesus.
The word always performs God’s will.
It is only the word of God that satisfies our souls.
Can you lay claim on the validity of God’s word? The word of God will always accomplish the goals God sets for it; the word will bear fruit.
If you’re holding on to the word of God, hold on tightly, it will perform, deliver, and prevail as promised and declared. It will not change, and nor will it fail. The word of God is sure.
Shalom
