USE YOUR MOUTH

Proverbs 21:18 ESV
The wicked is a ransom for the righteous, and the traitor for the upright.

Matthew 15:11 says it’s not what goes into our mouths but what comes out of it that defiles man, that being the case, many people have caused their death, or the death of others, by a false or injurious tongue.
your mouth is made for so much more than eating, it is made to glorify the Lord and to speak into your life by way of meditation. Psalm 19:14.
The words of our mouth are so powerful that they can cause a change or difference in our lives. That means we must be careful of what we say and confess daily.
What words are you speaking? What is your mouth confessing? Death and life or, evil and good.
When you believe in God, the word of God becomes easily accessible to you and must be part of your confession- Romans 10:8.
According to Romans 10:9, salvation is based on your tongue, we must continue to confess the Lordship of Jesus over our lives through our confession. We believe with our hearts but must continuously speak our confessions to affect our situations.
Your tongue is your future, it is the director of our lives and destinies. The tongue may cause us to lose out on certain things due to our confession. The word of God in our mouth and confession is meant to uplift and move us higher but only if we consistently use our mouths to align that word to our lives.
We should get the word of God started in me and release it consistently and daily into our lives through our speech, remember that we get what we speak, it means, our lives today are a result of what we spoke yesterday, we therefore must endeavour the right words always. Proverbs 15:4.
Proverbs 3:18 calls wisdom a tree of life whose fruit preserves life and gives all that makes living a blessing. So, if the tree of life and the word of God is stored inside us, we should make a daily habit to release that word over every area of our lives and into every situation and atmosphere.
There is no relief in the heart because the enemy typically hates our joy, peace and freedom, he, therefore, uses our words and confessions to lead us where he wants us and then gloats over our misfortunes. Psalm 13:2.
Use your mouth wisely! Our language, communication and confession should be without corruption— Christians should avoid corrupting talk. We must speak in ways that are good for building us and others up that gives grace, that is, confessions and communication that are godly and edifying. Ephesians 4:29.
A good way of escaping any kind of temptation coming from us is to be slow to speak authoritatively as in James 1:19: slow also to speak such hasty things of God, as in James 1:13. Slow to speak echoes Proverbs on the misuse of speech and the anger that can result. Christians should be slow to not only anger but negativity, evil, condemnation, unbelief and ungodliness.
As a believer, use your mouth to speak wisdom and righteously, speak what you want to see, expressing the Father’s instructions and counsel that is already in your heart- Psalm 37:30-31.
Use your mouth to reframe your world.
Shalom
