TEAMWORK!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 (ESV)
9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!
11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone?
12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

Teamwork is what is done by several people, usually, each doing a clearly defined portion, but all working to the efficiency of the whole.
The Christian walk is not one of individuality, we work as a team to effect the change that God wants on the earth. Teamwork creates a way for good harvest and success.
Every sphere of society thrives when the team is made up of people who work in harmony to share ideas and solve problems. It is not only the people in the team that benefit from a unified team but everyone around them is partaker of successful teamwork.
An iconic quote is; ‘Sorrow shared is a sorrow halved! Happiness shared is happiness doubled!
We will all come against obstacles and limitations, and we can only overcome by the power of the Holy Spirit and the support of the people around us, that teamwork of compassion, love, and encouragement according to 1 Thessalonians 5:11.
Teamwork is shown clearly in 2 Samuel 10:9-14 where Joab and his brothers worked in harmony to defeat the Ammonites and Syrians, each used their skill in their designated position until the battle was won, and none of them wanted to do what the other was doing.
Like Joab, teamwork should be based on Faith and human effort rightly go together.
The benefit of teamwork is illustrated by two or more working together to accomplish a goal. As asked in Amos 3:3, only people who agree can work together, otherwise, there would be disharmony.
When we work as a team, we experience what Proverbs 27:17 says, to sharpen each other; one person will sharpeneth the other, promoting and sharing intelligence, knowledge, and skills because we can’t all have every skill or know everything.
Two, (teamwork) are better than one as they share the workload, and so will have and enjoy a good reward for their labour, while having a companion on the journey to share the heartaches, pain, disappointment and finding help in hard times, and eventually share in the victory and success.
When we come together as a team, we unify God’s love, sharing the same world, faith, and devotion according to 1 Corinthians 1:10, also adding that we must abstain from strife and party spirit by speaking the same thing, and agree on calling Christ our only leader and perfectly joined in the same mind and in the same view in teamwork to express their faith and religion.
Corinthians 12:14, declare that the body is not one member, but many. But must work as a team to accomplish God’s purpose because teamwork is the essence of humanity. In the simplest of terms, we are all part of a team that relies on one another.
Each part of our body has been given to us to serve not ourselves, but the rest of the church. And when we work together, we are at our strongest and able to perform the will of God.
There will be no lack in life but as seen in Acts 2:45, there was teamwork expressed through generosity.
Our God-given skills, talent, abilities, and strength are meant for a team-a team is waiting on you to become a team member to fulfil purpose.
Teamwork is all about the Spirit of unity, let the Spirit of God bind us to work in a harmonious team.
Shalom
