FIT FOR PURPOSE.

2 Timothy 1:9 (CSBBible)
He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.

Are you fit for purpose?
Is everyone created for a purpose?
According to the Lord, He called us to a holy calling for His purpose, even before the world began.
What is your purpose on earth? Have you discovered why you’re here?
Life gets so busy, that sometimes we forget the purpose behind the busyness. We become so driven by the busy demands of life to do and achieve that we don’t realise that we may not be fitting greater purpose for life.
Because God has a greater purpose for us, Romans 8:28 declares that everything we experience will miraculously work out for our greater good as God uses them for His glory.
If you’re wondering, rest in the knowledge that God has a purpose for you, and all His purpose is perfect.
God has a valuable task for every one of us. Every situation in life was created uniquely to fit us, our job is to therefore acceptable and perfect His will.
Withing the plans of the Father for us, according to Jeremiah 29:11, we must have confidence that the promised hope and future will be peaceful if we walk according to His purpose.
Everything and everyone, good or bad is made for a specific purpose, first to worship the Lord and glorify Him according to Isaiah 43:7. Even the wicked man is made to fit the mould of wickedness according to Proverbs 16:4, as the Lord declared about Pharoah in Exodus 9:16, that the purpose of allowing him to live through all the plagues was for the sovereignty of God to be seen, that means Pharoah’s stubbornness and rebellion was fit for purpose.
God’s purpose for your life precedes any plans you make for yourself; it means according to 1 Corinthians 3:13 that purpose is much bigger and rewarding than your plans.
Think of yourself appointed by the Lord to pit a special mould, over in 2 Timothy 2:20, we see that we aren’t all called to dance to the same beat, so don’t doubt God’s purpose for you, despite the detours and destination, they are meant to fit eventually into that moulded purpose God carved out for you.
A lot of people, including believers have allowed society, circumstances, and people to define their purpose and are walking contrary to what God planned long ago for them according to Isaiah 25:1. God had fitted you to be a square but because of contrary expectations, you want to be a round shape trying to fit into a square shape.
The enemy uses lies to deceive us into thinking that what we do and who we are doesn’t matter, it does! Psalm 144:11 adds that God can rescue us and set us on the course of His divine purpose even when it seems unlikely to be Him leading us but be confidently assured that He fitted you to be where you are, be it a job, your neighbourhood, school, family and even marriage, they all fit into His bigger purpose.
God’s greater purpose must always be in the centre of our minds if we don’t want to get to the end of life and realise, we didn’t fit or fulfil our God-given purpose on earth. You are fit for purpose.
Shalom
