THE POWER AND THE GLORY

Matthew 6:13 (CSBBible)
And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.

The power and the glory are part of the doxology that falls at the end of the Lord’s prayer.
If we don’t thirst for God, we don’t search for Him, and we can’t see His glory.
It is in the glory of God that miracles happen, the power of God is greatly manifested within His glory, that’s the glory the Lord will not share with either man or mammon, Isaiah 42:8.
Make up your mind to allow your life to reflect God’s glory, what you allow is what you get. The glory of God appears to everyone but not all recognize it as the tangible presence of the Lord.
The power, that energy by which the kingdom of God is governed and maintained and without which spiritual titles and offices make authority ridiculously useless.
Thine is the power! God has the power to accomplish what we ask. We are weak and cannot do anything without the power of God, but God is almighty, and all things are possible with Him. Thine is the glory. That is, God is the honour or praise. Not our honour; but His glory, His goodness, will be displayed in providing for our wants; His power, in defending us; His praise, in causing His kingdom to spread through the word to the world.
John 17:22 says God has given us glory through Jesus Christ: this refers to us participating in all of the attributes and essence of God through the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, the visible glory of God in our lives is what is seen by men “and the glory which thou gavest me I have given them”—that is, the power to work miracles, and to preach the unadulterated truth, He has communicated to all those who believe, or shall believe in Him, the glorious privilege of becoming sons of God.
The ‘Gloria in Excelsis (Glory… in the highest), in which the hosts of heaven praised God for His wondrous love to mankind shown in the incarnation: the angels were praising God in the highest heaven for Christ’s Nativity while on earth men enjoy peace with God and peace and goodwill with one another. Luke 2:14.
Learn to and desperately seek the glory of the Lord at all times and not only His hands, but it is also His glory that changes man, and His power is what grants us the ability to act with the authority of God over the power of darkness.
The power and authority of the believer to carry out the great commission of Matthew 28:20 is revealed and empowered by the glory of God, the person of God is revealed in His glory, Isaiah 40:5, and the power of revelation is seen and utilized with authority through grace to the glory of the Father.
All power and glory belong to God, and He has chosen to give you the power to do exploits and His glory to rise upon you. Isaiah 60:1.
Romans 11:36 (WEY) For the universe owes its origin to Him, was created by Him, and has its aim and purpose in Him. To Him be the glory throughout the Ages! Amen.
Shalom
