for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.

Breakthrough is the sudden, dramatic, and important discovery or development and the sudden change in circumstances.
Breakthroughs are a process, they do not just happen, nor can they be manipulated to happen but for a breakthrough to happen, there must first be a need and an opportunity. The process for a breakthrough is not always obvious and they are exceedingly difficult times to go through. Breakthroughs do not begin when they are manifested, they begin at the point where we set ourselves to seek the Lord through extended, intensive prayer.
A great effectual door is opened— A great and energetic door of opportunities are opened to us all; that is, God has made a grand opening for us in many places, there will be many adversaries to oppose us. The breakthrough process implies labour. The door often signifies occasion or opportunity.
Jeremiah 33:3 says to call upon God to receive a breakthrough, He promises that when we call unto Him, not only will He answer us, but He will show us things that we won’t otherwise have known had we not called on Him because God alone can bring a breakthrough and reveals what the future hold.
Just like in the natural world, so it is in the Spiritual realm. The darkest time is right before the dawn, Psalm 30:5b, the battle usually rages at its highest, right before the victorious breakthrough.
So, if you are in a battle this morning -fighting and believing for your breakthrough, expect your breakthrough to come at dawn. Sometimes we may find ourselves in situations that make us think, there’s no hope (I have been in so many) and we feel like our prayer is getting nowhere. Now, what do we do when we have prayed about it and the situation stays the same: we wait for the Lord to turn things around.
The first breakthrough the Lord gives us is found in Colossians 1:13-God delivered us from the power of darkness. And the apostle intimates here that nothing less than the power of God can redeem a man from this darkness, or prince of darkness, who, through sin and unbelief, keeps men in ignorance, vice, and misery.
The Lord is always delivering us and drawing us out of the control and dominion of darkness and transferring us into the kingdom of the Son.
We all desire a breakthrough in one area of our lives or another, it could be health, financial, marital or spiritual, but the first step to breakthrough is to seek and ask the Lord as stipulated in James 4:2. How much enjoyment of God’s presence and experience of his power for breakthroughs are we missing out on because we do not ask God for what we desire and for breakthroughs?
Breakthrough is certain for us because we are of God and are under the influence of the Divine Spirit of breakthrough to overcome every hopeless situation because greater is the Holy Spirit, which is in us, than the spirit of afflictions which is in the world. 1 John 4:4.
Whatever breakthrough you are seeking and waiting for, do not allow adversity, afflictions and distractions to stop you from going through the open door of breakthrough. Breakthrough is on the way.
