Isaiah 30:21 (ESV)
And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Signposts are a necessity to order in every society, without them, it would be utter chaos to achieve anything in any sphere of humanity.
Signposts are objects that give all kinds of public or private notice to society.
There is all kind of signposts; verbal, written or pictorial signs that give instructions and orders.
Everyone needs a sign to help them throughout the day, you depend on these signs to go the right places, do the right things, understand things better and who or what is needed for certain things.
Signs are there to help us navigate life easily, smoothly and orderly. Signs offer:
1. detour
2. one-way
3. under construction
4. curve ahead
5. narrow road
These are signpost instructions every motorist will appreciate, heeding these instructions will help people avoid getting into an unsafe situation because it tells them how to act on the road for their safety and other road users.
In the Christian walk, Jesus is the Way, and He has shown us how we are to walk. The Lord has sent us His Holy Spirit to lead and guide us in the way we are to go, the narrow way that leads to life and not the broad way that leads to destruction.
The same holds in the Christian walk, there are spiritual signposts that instruct us on how to stay under God’s protection. If you will heed these signposts, you will be able to safely remain on course. Jeremiah 31:33.
The Lord is saying to us that when we need directions in life, He will tell us where to turn, either to the right hand or to the left.
Some people depend on astrological signs to guide them, some trust in tarot cards, some in tea leaves and many such things but you have the most accurate, up to date and infallible word of God in manual form (the bible) for a sign. 1 Timothy 3:16.
We must learn to look into God’s word for the sign we require if needed, although the Lord will prefer you to trust Him on His word because He will bring it to pass in time, Jeremiah 1:12.
God will use whatever means He likes to gain your attention but be assured that whatever He uses will still stem from His word, always match whatever sign you ask or look for against the word of God to be sure that you are aligned with the word of life and truth.
For there is no other name (no direction, no route, way or no other person), by which we can do anything but by the name of Jesus, Acts 4:12.
From the beginning, people have tried all sorts of sign to approach God or seek answers, such as.
Astronomical signs-Revelations 6:12.
Babies for a sign- Isaiah 7:14.
Miraculous signs- 2 Corinthians 12:12.
Men as signs- Zachariah 3:8.
Prophetic sign- Exodus 3:5.
Signs are needed but must be sought within the word of God. God says to ask for signs for yourself from Him in Isaiah 7:11 but we don’t necessarily get a sign if our motives are wrong as in the Pharisees asking for one according to Matthew 16:4.
The enemy is determined to trip us up, so, be sure you look out for and heed the signs to avoid falling into his trap. 1 Peter 5:8. Heed the sign.
