We know the realities of today’s economy – social uneasiness, medical crisis, total chaos, and the gloomy forecasts for the days ahead. Sustaining hope through these times will be a major task, even for the most optimistic. Sustaining hope means being encouraged when everyone else is discouraged. It means keeping your head up and showing people faith even when situations look their darkest.
Abraham did not weaver in his faith and hope in God’s promises, neither should we. Romans 4:18
We should not lose hope and faith in the face of impossibilities, improbabilities, inadequacies, insecurities, and inconsistencies, for the Lord is the opposite of all these things and He’s able to make all grace abound to us to hope unto our faith through the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:2-5.
Who but God controls the future? Who but God has a home for us in eternity? That’s why God is our hope. Chin up! Hope in God for sustenance!
