DIVINE CARE

Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG)
6 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
7 Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

Divine care is one of God’s promises to His children, He promises that we would have no reason to worry because He would meet all our needs; everything and anything. Anxiety is a state of restlessness and agitation, often with general indisposition and a distressing sense of oppression. Anxiety is always with a sense of solicitude, foreboding, uneasiness; disquiet, perplexity; disquietude, trouble; apprehension.
Worry is a sin just like any other sin, just like lying, murder, and stealing. Worry is like you telling God that He is not capable of handling our situations. The Hebrew word for what the English call worry or anxiety, really means “cares” about life which indicates that man should not be anxious about anything.
This seems like a tall order for so many of us because we know how to worry even over the minutest thing.
But if you can trust God with your salvation, why do you find it difficult to trust Him with your smaller needs?
Do not! That’s a command. We are not to be anxious about anything, nothing! The Lord is able, capable, and willing to meet all our needs.
The cares of the world, which is why 1 Peter 5:7 says to cast all that cares we carry around on the Lord.
God offers us divine care because He cares for you- it is our duty to prayerfully hand every care to the Lord and be confidently reliant on His goodness.
Seasons come and go, we watch them roll around and see the changes in the elements and environment, from one of the dry crusty no leaves of autumn to the budding of plants, flowers, and animal birthing in spring but with little or no effort from man. The plant and animals do not worry about anything, the birds as the Lord say, are never anxious about where their next meal will come from.
If you are a parent, you know your children don’t need to beg or manipulate you into providing for them, it comes naturally to you to want to give them everything. Luke 12:22-26 tells us we can’t achieve anything from worry and anxiety, why would our children worry when they have confidence in our ability to provide for them. God needs us to be confident in His ability to care for us and not be worried about anything-He knows what we need, when and how we need them without us having to beg or manipulate Him into meeting our needs.
The Lord’s desire is for us to be free from all forms of worry because all it will do is cause us distress according to 1 Corinthians 7:32. In Philippians 4:19, Paul calls God “my God,” He is still “our God” implying that God would reward His servant by fully supplying their every need.
We always think we are too weak to not worry about anything and we feel like anxiety is a natural part of life and can’t be avoided but not according to 2 Corinthians 12:9 which says His grace is sufficient for us in every situation.
Instead of being anxious over anything, the Lord wants us to handle our worry by prayer and supplication as instructed by Vs 6. The Lord can divinely care for us in every way.
Shalom
