Everything in life starts in seed form! Godly seed is a seed of a child that is born into God’s plan and path.
They say children are the future, they are, but with the proper training. Children are the present and future generation! For them to be fit for the next generation they must be brought up right as prescribed by Proverbs 22:6.
Every woman is a potential mother because according to Genesis 1:28, the instruction is to procreate and refill the earth. Fruitfulness and multiplication of godly children to fill the earth and be flaming arrows in God’s hands.
There are so many children roaming the streets with no parents or adults supervising them, teaching, and training them, they are left to the dangers of society and themselves.
According to Psalm 127:3, children are meant to be a heritage from God and a reward to their parents, family, and society. They should therefore be valued as gifts from God that should be cared for, loved, nurtured, and protected, not as accessories, proof of virility and a tick on the list of to-dos.
Godly seed is one of the main purposes God instituted marriage, to raise godly children for His glory.
Do you have good children or godly children?
So many have left God out of the upbringing of their children, they have been brought up as per societal expectation; how they will fit into society, how and what they will do and who will give them a leg up. They are sent to the top school, trained in the best institutes, and given every advantage that will set them up for life.
How do we bring up godly children?
As parents, it is natural to want to indulge our children, but when does it become over-indulgence and pampering? We want to give them everything but the one thing with eternal value: the word of God.
Deuteronomy 4:9 tell us how we can teach and maintain the godly lessons our children need to remain connected to the Lord. Believing parents must instruct their children by living an exemplary godly life, teach them from the stories of their spiritual exploits and adventures and share with them God’s faithfulness.
All parents want is to have successful children who will carry on their legacy and fulfil their plans for them. God the Father wants the same as well and that’s one of the reasons why God saved us and keeps us alive so that we will produce godly seed upon the earth that will succeed here.
What you invest in your child is very critical, so, invest in them the right things. Train your children with the aspiration to be a better version of you, brighter, smarter the good things you didn’t have growing up is what you should endeavour to give to your children.
Discipline your children commands proverbs 20:30.
Children are to be brought up to honour their parents and elders to have a long life says Ephesians 6:2.
We must lead our children to Christ-evangelize them according to Matthew 18:3, they are required to be part of God’s kingdom so must be tenderly nurtured and trained in the way of the Lord.
Ask God for the wisdom and direction to raise godly seeds. He has a package for individual children.
