Luke 8:17 (AMP)
For there is nothing hidden that shall not be disclosed, nor anything secret that shall not be known and come out into the open.
“Lost and found, careless owner” was a popular mantra used in my childhood when someone lost something.
We’re always searching for something in life, even in the spiritual we must search for those things we desire according to Mark 7:7 saying we have to “seek”- the implication being that we don’t and can’t find anything of value just lying around.
How do you search out concealed things to be revealed to you? The obvious answer would be for you to seek answers, solutions, and revelation of whatever you need from God.
The unobvious answer is to seek from the place that gives you a vantage point to see what is being hidden from you.
Everything of value from water to precious metals must be dug for, they are hidden underneath the earth, not lying around for easy discovery.
We are always looking for hidden things, secret things that God only reveals to those that earnestly search for them and need them or to those they belong to, according to Deuteronomy 29:29.
God’s truth is like daylight and can’t be hidden-Hebrews 4:13 when matched against the facts of life, every hidden lie and secret is laid bare.
The enemy messes with our lives by hiding things from the hidden treasures of blessings meant for us, by making us give up praying, believing, and waiting on God to wanting us to believe that the Lord will not, and cannot grant us our requests.
God knows all things but chooses to hide them from us, so as not to take the glory off Him- whatever is hidden from you, whatever you need, you must search for if it’s important to you. According to Proverbs 25:2 Kings deserve glory for searching for as many answers as possible but just as no king may know God’s mind completely, no other human can know a king’s mind completely.
So, the Lord concealed many things in parables, allegories, metaphors, and similitudes, it is therefore proper for the Lord to reveal His will, we must then be serious in the search to discover what we seek.
We seek things here, we seek things there, but what we need to do is seek the hidden treasures of the kingdom through God’s word by calling on Him states Jeremiah 33:3.
The enemy doesn’t want us to find all the things that belong to us, he wants us to keep stumbling in the dark, distractedly focused on earthly things but God gives deep revelations of the location of the hidden things through fellowship with Him and directions from His word in Daniel 2:22.
God can and will reveal to you whatever you’re looking for, and wherever is hidden.
The Lord is concerned about us and He’ll use a miracle in certain circumstances to reveal concealed items as seen in 2 Kings 6:1-6, a few years ago my daughter found her purse that was concealed for a long time, we’d searched everywhere for months but one night after family time on this verse, she asked the Lord to “float” her purse, that night, she found it on her table- as Luke 8:17 promised.
What are you searching for? Do not give up looking, ask the Lord and He will show you where it’s hidden.
