Psalm 115:12-16 MEV
The LORD has been mindful of us; He will bless us; He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron. [13] He will bless those who fear the LORD, both the small and great ones.
[14] The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.
[15] You are blessed of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
[16] The heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth He has given to the children of men.
Super means things that are beyond the physical or natural, while natural is of this world. As believers, we are not limited by the socioeconomic system of the government to sustain and prosper us. We operate spiritual formula for supernatural increase not man’s system of the prosperity of work till you drop.
God has made it that believers should prosper and increase, we should and will increase supernaturally even in times of economic crisis because our increase, especially financial increase is dependent on God’s financial principles. God has increased us and will continue to increase us. According to Psalm 67:5-7, when believers praise God, they will see and experience the abundant blessings that the Gentiles were to receive, anticipating that God’s people would increase even through their children. And according to Genesis 1:28, God called us to give us the privileges that Adam forfeited.
And the earth will yield her increase to believers because the curse on the earth was removed by Jesus Christ and God shall bless us.
In God’s kingdom, there is a system of supernatural increase and multiplication that goes beyond our efforts, our jobs, earnings, savings, and abilities that believers should operate in according to Deuteronomy 30:15-19. Supernatural increase is the blessing of prosperity and progeny from the Lord, the only one with the power to grant such blessings says Deuteronomy 8:18.
Genesis 26:12 says Isaac sowed in the land in the year of famine when it was impossible to bear fruit, but he defied agricultural and pastoral principles, blessed, and favoured by the Lord, He received a hundred-fold increase from all his grains, by virtue of obedience and special blessing from God, his property became increased.
There is an extraordinary or supernatural increase available to expectant believers who are operating in a small beginnings mentality according to Job 8:7.
Like with Isaac, obedience is key to our increase: God’s instructions + obedience = 100-fold harvest (supernatural increase).
Notice though, that sowing took place first before the harvest! Have you been sowing where God tells you to? 2 Corinthians 9:10 says sowing is necessary for supernatural increase. You sow and the Lord increases according to Isaiah 54:2-3.
You cannot expect a supernatural increase of any kind if you’ve not done any sowing into the kingdom. Our seed must be sown judiciously and in godly fields, as seen in Matthew 6:19-21 and not where natural disasters can destroy the expected increase.
And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly.” Says Abraham’s servant in Genesis 24:35, this can be said of you too. Our Heavenly Father is still as rich today in cattle and in goods, as Psalm 50:10 says the cattle on a thousand hills are His. How great is God! Time to start sowing godly seeds and take your eyes off the soil since we don’t know where the harvest will come from says Ecclesiastes 11:1, 6.
God wants to bless us beyond our natural abilities. When we walk in the path of righteousness and His will, we experience supernatural increase beyond anything we’ve experienced before.
We all desire to increase by doing our best to achieve that but supernatural increase is all about the goodness, favour, and blessing of the Lord. Walk in His truth and release what is in your hands for the glory of God and a base substance for Him to increase.
